I built a barn!

Well, a quilt block barn!  The last block in the All Roads to the Sea quilt…it is a block of the month Ive been making for my husband who wa

s born on the East Coast (and is I think tired of all my repro quilts!).   This has been a challenging quilt to make, all the pieces are squares and rectangles, and lots of what I call “flippy corners”, those squares that are sewn on to another square at a diagonal,  then folded on the seam line to create a triangle in the corner of the larger square.

Great to see it almost done…just a fence to go along the bottom, and two plain borders.  The quilting on this top will be fun and hopefully bring it all to life!
